Intense Pulsed Light · Sheridan, WY

Light that
resets your skin

InMode IPL photofacials. Targeted light energy for the concerns topicals can't fix.

Broadband Light, Precision Results

IPL - Intense Pulsed Light - is not a laser. It's a broad spectrum of light wavelengths that selectively targets chromophores in the skin: melanin (pigmentation), hemoglobin (redness and blood vessels), and water. The light converts to heat and destroys the target without damaging surrounding tissue.

The result is a more even skin tone - less brown spots, less redness, fewer visible vessels - with zero downtime. Most clients describe it as a warm snap against the skin, well within tolerable range.

  • InMode Optimus system - clinical-grade broadband light platform
  • Targets pigmentation, sun spots, freckles, and age spots
  • Reduces facial redness, rosacea, and broken capillaries
  • Zero downtime - return to normal activities immediately

What to Expect

A typical IPL session takes 20-30 minutes. Your face is cleansed, a cool gel is applied, and the handpiece is placed against your skin. Each pulse delivers a flash of light - you feel a warm snap, like a rubber band. Most clients tolerate it without numbing.

Immediately after, the treated areas darken slightly as the pigment comes to the surface. Over 5-10 days, those darkened spots flake off naturally - revealing clearer, more even-toned skin underneath. Redness from vessels fades over 2-4 weeks as the body clears the coagulated tissue.

  • 20-30 minute treatment, no anesthesia required
  • Results emerge over 1-2 weeks as pigment surfaces and flakes
  • Series of 3-5 treatments for optimal correction
  • Annual maintenance keeps results fresh

The Concerns That Disappear

IPL is versatile because the broad light spectrum addresses multiple targets simultaneously. A single session can treat sun damage, redness, and vessel visibility at the same time. That's why it's one of the most prescribed treatments in medical aesthetics.

Ideal candidates have fair to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I-IV). Darker skin types have more melanin in the dermis, which competes with the treatment targets and can cause complications. Your provider will assess your skin type at consultation.

  • Sun spots, age spots, and hyperpigmentation
  • Facial redness and rosacea (diffuse and threaded)
  • Broken capillaries and telangiectasias
  • Sun damage on face, neck, chest, and hands

Most clients see meaningful improvement after the first session. A full treatment series - typically 3-5 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart - delivers the correction that lasts.
